SUGGESTED ITINERARIES
If you have 1 day:
In the morning, we suggest you take the Bus Turístic (northbound) and go to the center of the city. There, in Paseo de Gracia you can visit the Art Nouveau houses Lleó Morera, Ametller and Casa Batlló. A little further up is the Milà House also called la Pedrera, built by Gaudí. Later on you can visit the Temple of the Sagrada Familia. You can eat around there.In the afternoon, you could take again the Bus Turístic (southbound) that will take you to the mountain of Montjuïc. In the Plaza España you can see the famous Magic Fountain, the Palau Nacional and the MNAC Museum. By bus you can go up to the Olympic ring, the Poble Español and the Olympic Stadium.To finish the day, have a stroll through the Gothic quarter, the Cathedral, City Hall and Palau de la Generalitat. Santa María del Mar and the Rambla will complete your visit.
If you have 2 days:
DAY 1::
In the morning we suggest you take the Bus Turístic (northbound) and go to the Sagrada Familia. After admiring this masterpiece you can go to the Park Güell where you will find the interplay between architecture and nature. To eat you can wander through the District of Gràcia where you will find a large number of restaurants from all parts of the world and where you will breathe the authentic atmosphere of Barcelona. In the afternoon visit the Paseo de Gracia and the Quadrat d’Or (Pedrera, Casa Batlló…). For dinner you can look for a table near Santa María del Mar (Borne quarter), in one of the more “in” city restaurant
DAY 2:
The next day you can go to the Ramblas and visit the market of la Boqueria, a spectacle of gastronomy. A stroll through the Gothic quarter and the Petritxol Street will allow you to see the most tourist part of Barcelona. Very close you can find the Cathedral and the City Hall. You can go down las Ramblas and reach the Port Vell and Maremagnum, one of city gates to the sea. Beside it you will find the Aquarium. If you still have some energy, we recommend visiting the famous stadium of Football Club Barcelona, where you can buy all kinds of souvenirs.
If you have 3 days:
DAY 1:
Start the day by visiting the fascinating Gothic district of our city. There you will find the City Hall, the Cathedral and the most picturesque streets of Barcelona. Once you are in Plaza Catalunya, you can walk along the majestic Paseo de Gracia, where you will find the Casa Batlló and la Pedrera, both built by Gaudí. You can eat in this area since you will find many restaurants where you can taste the “tapas” and local cuisine. In the afternoon you can make a visit to the FCB Stadium and Museum. In the evening take the Tramvia Blau and climb up to Tibidabo, where you can have dinner while enjoying the best views of the city.
DAY 2:
The following day visit the Montjuïc mountain. There you will find the Fundació Miró, the Olympic Ring, Poble Espanyol and the MNAC. Mealtime can be a good excuse to approach to the sea and to the District of la Barceloneta. There are many restaurants where you can eat paella and seafood. In the afternoon you can go along the coast up to the Olympic village and Forum until dinner time. Nearby you will find the Zoo.
DAY 3:
Start the day by visiting the la Boquería market, located on the Ramblas. It is a good area for shopping. You can go by metro to the Sagrada Familia to admire Gaudi’s masterpiece. There is a big offer of restoration in this area. In the afternoon by subway or city bus go to Park Güell, for Magic afternoon strolling through this place designed by Gaudí.Descend walk to the neighborhood of grace through narrow streets, shops and squares and breathe the authentic atmosphere in Barcelona.
